During my time living in Chicago, December 27th, 2024 I was diagnosed with brain cancer, grade 3 astrocytoma. I underwent brain surgery 12/4/24 to remove as much of the tumors as possible & test the tumors, then went through radiation therapy January ‘25 - March ‘25, and then endured through chemo treatment April ‘25 - November ‘25. Treatment is not a cure, I still have tumors in my brain, but these treatments I underwent basically put the cancer cells into hibernation that will last hopefully forever, but these tumors are predicted to remain in hibernation for about 10 years. My ability to speak, move my body, & function will remain normal until the cancer cells once again grow excessively. Deeper details of my experience are available on the personal blog.

Despite this shocking medical debacle I have encountered, I still opened a little business in June 2025 doing what I love - Idahome Sweets LLC. Idahome Sweets will be present on certain dates  at the Moscow Farmer’s Market 2026!
